Your Baby This Week
The embryo is fully implanted in the uterus. The amniotic sac and yolk sac are forming. Three distinct layers of cells are developing that will become all of your baby's organs and tissues.
Your Body This Week
A missed period is the first major sign. You may feel breast tenderness, fatigue, frequent urination, or mild nausea. A home pregnancy test can now show positive.
Good to Do Now
Take a pregnancy test if you have missed your period. Schedule your first prenatal appointment. Start a pregnancy journal if you like.
The Tools for This Week
Weeks like this are when care teams begin. Whether you want an OB-GYN, a midwife, or both, the good ones book early.
