Your Baby This Week

Your baby's grip is strong enough to grab a finger. The lanugo (fine body hair) is starting to disappear. More fat is being deposited. The bone marrow has taken over red blood cell production.

Your Body This Week

Fatigue is back. You may have trouble finding a comfortable position to sleep. Mood swings can return. Your belly may feel very tight.

Good to Do Now

Start washing baby clothes and setting up the nursery if you have not. Pre-register at the hospital. Consider a postpartum doula for after birth support.

Line up your after care now: a lactation consultant and a postpartum doula are the two calls new parents are gladdest they made early.
