Your baby is gaining about half a pound per week now. Bones are fully developed but still soft. The brain can control body temperature and rhythmic breathing. White fat is replacing red, wrinkly skin.

Your Body This Week

Heartburn may peak. Difficulty bending over. You may feel pelvic pressure as baby drops lower. Frequent bathroom trips day and night.

Good to Do Now

Finalize your birth plan. Discuss it with your partner and your provider. Include preferences for labor, pain management, and immediate postpartum.
