Your Baby This Week
The heart is beating at about 110 beats per minute. Facial features are beginning to form: dark spots for eyes, small openings for nostrils. The jaw, cheeks, and chin are taking shape.
Your Body This Week
Nausea may intensify. You might have food aversions, heightened sense of smell, bloating, and mood swings. Fatigue can feel overwhelming.
Good to Do Now
Stay hydrated even if nausea makes it hard. Try lemon water or popsicles. Avoid strong smells. Talk to your doctor if vomiting is severe.
