Your Baby This Week
Your baby is full term. All organ systems are mature. They have a firm grasp and can blink, turn their head, and respond to sound, light, and touch. The brain and lungs continue to mature right up until birth.
Your Body This Week
You may feel a burst of energy (nesting) or extreme fatigue. Cervical changes continue. You might lose your mucus plug. Contractions may start becoming more regular.
Good to Do Now
Rest, rest, rest. You will need your energy for labor. Eat well, stay hydrated. Try to stay calm and trust your body and your team.
