Your Baby This Week

Your baby is practicing breathing movements and swallowing amniotic fluid. Toenails are visible. Fat layers continue building, making skin less transparent. The skeleton is hardening except for the skull bones (which stay soft for delivery).

Your Body This Week

Braxton Hicks may come more frequently. You may experience 'lightning crotch' (sharp pelvic pains). Swelling in hands and feet. Feeling very large.
