Your Baby This Week

Your body is releasing an egg from the ovary. If sperm meets egg, fertilization happens, usually in the fallopian tube. The fertilized egg begins dividing rapidly.

Your Body This Week

You may notice ovulation signs: mild pelvic pain, increased cervical mucus, and a slight rise in basal body temperature.

Good to Do Now

This is your fertile window. If you are trying to conceive, this is the optimal time. Stay hydrated and keep up healthy habits.

Weeks like this are when care teams begin. Whether you want an OB-GYN, a midwife, or both, the good ones book early.
