Originally from Laredo, Texas, she moved to New York City in 2009 to attend NYU's counseling program. Sarina founded Mariposa Doula Care in 2022 to create a space that celebrates the beauty and strength of childbirth. She is a certified level 2 Traditional Usui Reiki Practitioner serving Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Orange, and Fairfield counties.
